The Valhalla Wilderness Society supports numerous grassroots initiatives. Some of these independent projects run parallel to the Society’s current major campaigns. Generally, most funding resources are designated to major campaigns. Many volunteer hours are spent on smaller independent projects, for which funding is not available.
There are many important issues that are integrally connected to larger environmental initiatives, all which require vigilant attention. Some these are directed and carried out by other grassroots groups, with additional support from the Valhalla Society.
